Sometimes in life you come to a moment when you must make a decision. Perhaps you agonize over it, struggle with it, lose sleep over it, but eventually you make a choice.

That happened to me today.

Next door to our office is a soup-and-sandwich type restaurant. It is a nice, cozy sort of place with free Internet, friendly staff, a relaxed manager, wonderful food and really great coffee. We have gotten take-out there many times too. Judging by the traffic all day long, we are not alone in that regard!

This has had a typical result. Lots of people, the lack of moral fiber these days, total disregard for one’s fellow man, pass the buck, “I didn't do it” - it all adds up to a very predictable situation.

But anyway, as I was walking into the office from my car today, it happened. That critical moment in life was right there before me.

What to do?

This was definitely a fork in the road.




So I picked it up and put it in the trash.
